Governance & independence
Open Health Tourism is operated independently. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government authority, and it does not accept payment to change or influence a verification result.
Editorial guardrails
- Source primacy. A result always follows the current official authorization register. The platform does not independently invalidate a listed provider.
- Separation of concerns. Identity-match confidence is reported separately from authorization status.
- Two-person rule. Sensitive manual actions — status overrides, merging or splitting establishments, or publishing after a severe validation failure — require two-person approval.
- No pay-to-rank. There are no rankings, sponsored ordering, leads or advertising in the registry product.
- Auditable corrections. Corrections create new audit events; history is never silently rewritten.
Conflict-of-interest disclosure
Any commercial API offering is metered and abstracted from registry facts. Monetization of access never alters what an official source says. Questions: see Corrections.
