Corrections & identity evidence

Organizations and individuals can submit corrections and identity evidence. Submissions create a reviewed audit ticket — they cannot directly change an authorization result, which always follows the official source.

What you can submit

  • Evidence that a commercial brand corresponds to a specific official facility.
  • A corrected website or public contact channel.
  • Name or address change evidence.
  • A claim that the wrong official row is linked.
  • A request to remove an unsupported alias, or a privacy request.

What you cannot self-declare

Authorization status, certificate validity, revocation, accreditation, or the content of an official source record. Those follow the cited authority.

How to submit

The correction API endpoint is POST /v1/corrections (see the API overview). A public correction log records the reference, affected record, date, category, evidence class and outcome — never personal submitter details.

Include verifiable evidence links. Accepted evidence, strongest first: official authority document, official license, official gazette/notice, the organization’s own legal/imprint page, a signed corporate declaration.
